Sony Looks to Become Television Provider
It's being reported that Sony is looking to make television available to customers, but without going through any cable services. They are developing a web based product, that would be used as an alternative to regular television.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Sony will make the television available over internet connections to Sony devices. They even have contacted content providers including Comcast NBCUniversal, Discovery, and News Corp. to try and work deals to offer their service.
