Skyfall Breaks Blu-ray Release Records
The third outing of Daniel Craig as James Bond in "Skyfall" just continues to keep writing itself into the record books. On top of a whole host of accolades it received last year, now it has become the biggest selling Blu-Ray of all time in the UK in the first week of sale.

Selling a staggering 544,000 copies in its opening seven days, which totally eclipses the previous best of "Avatar" (428,000 copies), and the third biggest seller, "The Dark Knight Rises" (285,000 copies). Once you tally in the DVD figures, "Skyfall" accounted for 45% of all disc sales in the UK last week.

Things could also get even better for the twenty third movie in the franchise as it is already nicely placed to become the UK's biggest selling Blu-Ray of all time. As it is now, its sitting third in the all-time list closely behind the 2010 movie Inception that has moved 551,000 copies, but a fair way behind James Cameron's Avatar that sold 1.020 million copies since it became available to own on disc.
