Indiana Jones Recast Ruled Out by Producer
For all the Indiana Jones fans out there who want to see a fifth film from the franchise, you may get your wish.

Rumors have been swirling around about a fifth film ever since Disney bought Lucasfilm, and even Steven Spielberg recently commented that there would "probably" be one. People have been pegging Chris Pratt as the new leading man, but that's not necessarily in the cards.

Producer Frank Marshall also commented, saying, "There are a lot of rumors. We haven't even sat down to talk about Indy yet… at some point we'll sit down. But there's a bunch of people who could probably take the baton… We're not doing the Bond thing where we're going to call somebody else Indiana Jones… we have to figure this out."

So, no one would ever, technically, replace Indiana Jones, so we have to wonder where the storyline would go. Maybe we would see the son of Indy take the reigns, or perhaps a student?  Harrison Ford has said in the past that he would reprise his role, so here's hoping he gets the chance to do so.
