Scream, the MTV series based on the Wes Craven film franchise that began in the 90s, has been renewed for a third season. There will be a total of six episodes.
Showrunners Michael Gans and Richard Register won't be returning to the project and we have no word yet on who will be replacing them.
There is also no word yet on casting or production info.
MTV will also be airing a Scream Halloween special on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 9 p.m.
