Miller will be joining co-stars KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Marisol Nichols, Madelaine Petsch, Ashleigh Murray, Mark Consuelos, Casey Cott, Skeet Ulrich, Mädchen Amick, Luke Perry and Vanessa Morgan. The third season will bring about the case of Archie Andrews (K.J. Apa), who was arrested at the end of the second season. Ms. Wright will be the attorney handling his defense.
The next season will also fast forward a bit, bringing the students into their Junior year. "We're going to try to infuse the season with a lot more high school stuff with all the crime, drama, and mystery. We're going to talk about the SAT, applying to colleges, advisors, all that stuff", said executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
Riverdale's third season premiers on October 10 on the CW.
