Sony Pictures will be going ahead with a "Salt" sequel. The film has already begun to be written by scribe Kurt Wimmer, and it is definitely being written for Angelina Jolie to reprise her role.

The film is about Evelyn Salt, a CIA agent who was outed as a Russian spy. The first film was left open so that a sequel was a possibility.

It is said that Jolie definitely would like to do a sequel, but only if it comes together right. Most likely, this film will indeed get made.
