HBO has done it again.  Their award winning program knows no limits and one of their newest shows, Insecure, has once again garnered critical acclaim for the network.  Premiering last fall the 8 episode season commenced just before Thanksgiving and Season Two is set to start this summer. Based on Issa Rae's (A Bitter Lime) web series Awkward Black Girl, it follows the lives of Issa and her friend Molly (Yvonne Orji; Jane the Virgin)

Issa and Molly were best friends in college and have remained close throughout their lives.  Issa works for a nonprofit that deals with middle school students of color and she is in a long-term relationship.  Molly on the other hand is career oriented who works as a successful corporate attorney but has difficulty with dating.  The series looks at the black female experience from two distinct perspectives.
