The show, which stars Rami Malek and Christian Slater, is about a cyber-security engineer and his involvement with an underground hacker group, fsociety, led by Mr. Robot.
The series has earned bot Malek and Slater award nominations - two Golden Globes for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, Drama and an Emmy in 2016 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Malek and three Golden Globe nominations for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Slater, one of which he won in 2016.
