Lisette Alexis (Total Eclipse) has been cast as the lead in the upcoming Disney+ "National Treasure" TV series.
The series, based on the film franchise, will focus on the character of Jess, and woman who loves mysteries and is proficient in solving puzzles. We follow her journey of self-discovery and her connection to a long-lost treasure.
The film franchise is comprised of three films and began in 2004, starring Nicolas Cage.
Jerry Bruckheimer will executive produce with Jon Turteltaub directing. Marianne and Cormac Wibberley co-write the script.
