Chris Hemsworth is in negotiations to take on the title role in Disney's upcoming "Prince Charming" film.
It was revealed last week that director Paul King is developing the project, and it's now confirmed that Hemsworth is in talks for the iconic character. The screenplay is being co-written by Simon Farnaby, Jon Croker, and King himself, with the film currently in development.
While specific plot details remain under wraps, the "Prince Charming" character has various interpretations in literature. In Disney's realm, he typically serves as the love interest for several princesses, most notably originating from Cinderella, where he is Cinderella's true love. However, sources indicate that this new film won't be directly tied to Cinderella.
Hemsworth is also set to star in the Amazon MGM Studios thriller "Crime 101", which is currently in production.
Disney has not commented on Hemsworth's potential involvement.
