Warner Bros. has updated its film release schedule, making significant changes to two major titles. "Final Destination: Bloodlines" is now set to hit theaters in May 2025, taking the slot previously occupied by J.J. Abrams-produced thriller "Flowervale Street", which has been postponed to March 2026. This adjustment puts "Final Destination: Bloodlines" at the start of a packed summer season, positioned between major releases like Marvel's "Thunderbolts", "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning", and Disney's live-action "Lilo & Stitch". Meanwhile, the studio has also delayed the release of its live-action/CGI hybrid comedy "Animal Friends", starring Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa, Aubrey Plaza, and Addison Rae, which will now debut on October 10, 2025.

The summer of 2025 promises to be competitive, with a lineup of highly anticipated films. These include "Karate Kid: Legends" (May 30), "28 Years Later" (June 20), "Jurassic World Rebirth" (July 2), Superman (July 11), The Smurfs Movie (July 18), and Marvel's "The Fantastic Four" (July 25).
