Wicked Sing-Along Screenings Announced for Christmas Day

Get ready, Wicked fans! Universal Pictures just dropped some magical holiday news: "Wicked" is coming to theaters for special Christmas Day sing-along screenings! With over 1,000 theaters across the U.S., Canada, and beyond joining in, it's your chance to sing all your favorite songs alongside the incredible Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, who'll kick things off with a special introduction. For those who don't the songs by heart, on-screen lyrics will be provided.

This announcement comes as "Wicked continues" to break records left and right, officially becoming the highest-grossing Broadway musical film adaptation in U.S. history, dethroning Grease, which held the crown for a whopping 46 years.

The film's jaw-dropping soundtrack, featuring hits by Grammy and Oscar®-winning composer Stephen Schwartz, isn't just iconic-it's historic. It debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart and racked up over 270 million global streams, making it the most-streamed stage-to-screen musical soundtrack ever. Also, a sing-along version of the soundtrack will be dropping digitally on December 20.
