True Blood Season 6 Debuts with 4.5 Million Viewers
"True Blood", HBO's hit vampire series, debuted its sixth season last night to 4.5 million viewers.  While those numbers are impressive for the channel, it is actually down from the 5.2 million viewers that watched the season five debut.

The premier episode was directed by Stephen Moyer, who also plays Bill Compton.

While the premier numbers were down from last year, they were still higher than those of the latest season of "Game of Thrones", and also had to contend with NBA Finals.
