Sam Strike Cast as Lead in Amazon's Dark Tower Series

Sam Stike has been cast as Roland Deschain in Amazon's upcoming adaptation of "The Dark Tower". Jasper Pääkkönen has also been cast in the drama series and is said to be playing Marten.
"The Dark Tower" book series consists of 8 volumes and is a mix of western, drama and fantasy genres.
Strike starred in the Syfy/Netflix series "Nightflyers", and Pääkkönen has starred in History Channel's "Vikings", as well as "BlacKkKlansman".
No further details as to when this series will begin production or be released.
