Stranger Things Season 4 Debut Breaks Records

Netflix's mega-hit series "Stranger Things" has broken records once again, earning the number one spot for the biggest premiere weekend ever for a Netflix original series.

The series' Season 4 Volume 1 has 286.79 million hours viewed since its May 27 launch date. Season 2 of Bridgerton now falls to second place with 193 million hours. The three previous seasons of "Stranger Things" also saw an uptick in viewing recently with Season 1 at 38M hours viewed, Season 2 at 22.2M hours viewed, and Season 3 at 24.3M hours viewed.

A cultural phenomenon, the series also shot Kate Bush's 37-year-old song "Running Up That Hill" to the number one spot on iTunes. Spotify showed an increase of over 1,600% in global streams for Kate Bush's catalog and a whopping 9700% increase for the single "Running Up That Hill" alone.
