Disney Park Favorite Getting His Own Feature Film

Figment, Disney's lovable purple dragon, will be getting the big screen treatment. The studio has announced that a film is currently in the works.

The character is the mascot of Epcot's Imagination Pavilion in Orlando and was created in 1983 by Walt Disney Imagineers Tony Baxter, Steve Kirk, and other collaborators. He has developed a cult following over the years and is a beloved character of Disney fans. 

The film will hail from Seth Rogen's Point Grey, with Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit writing the script.
